Hi, my name is Jeff Dupler and I’m the founder of Cocksville. I’ve always dreamed of starting a gay campground, but I also wanted to create a community for other gay men like myself. I want to break the curse of loneliness of single gay country life having to browse Grindr gay profiles of people too scared to add a picture of themselves.

Moving forward, my concept is to create three separate businesses: one that is a cooperative that’s focused on offering an inexpensive community-based place to live permanently off-grid. The second company would be a for-profit gay campground that’s part of but separated from the campground. The third business would be the investors and land owners.

I’m not an attorney so I don’t know exactly what we can and can’t do yet. We will be buying undeveloped land with no restrictions. I picture a street of mini-homes and another street for campers and RVs for the permanent residents. I feel the best plan of success would be to invite the community to participate in the development of this project.
